When a new Player joins, or when an old player's character dies, they must go through the Avatar Creation Process. This process dictates what the Player's Avatar will look like, sound like, and be capable of doing, at least from the beginning. After finishing the creation process the Player will begin in their village of choice by attending the Shinobi Academy, and participating in any requirements they may have based on their Avatar's background and other possibilities dictated during the creation process. After graduating from the academy the game truly begins.
